Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week acute rehabilitation unit assignment.

  • >Acute Rehabilitation Unit setting
  • Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday
  • 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts
  • 13-week assignment length

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an A.O.T.A. accredited Occupational Therapy program required
  • Master's degree from an A.O.T.A. accredited program highly desired
  • Minimum 2 years of OT experience in a US hospital setting required
  • Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
  • DC license required, if applicable
  • Active license required, no pending licenses accepted
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required

Additional Information

  • Serve as part of an interdisciplinary team providing comprehensive occupational therapy services
  • Perform detailed clinical assessments based on individual patient needs following physician referral
  • Develop age-appropriate, comprehensive plans of care based on evaluation findings
  • Accurately and appropriately document all patient treatment
  • Must be able to respond effectively to new and changing work assignments
  • Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius of the facility
