OT - Pediatric Feeding
Job Details:
• Work 4x10 shifts Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM (Wednesday off)
• Start and end times may vary approximately 30 minutes due to paperwork at the clinician's discretion; patient care hours are 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• 20-week assignment
• No on-call requirements; may be called off based on patient volume
• Hours are guaranteed after the call-off policy has been met
• Maximum of 6 days of requested time off for the duration of the assignment
• Will spend 1 to 2 weeks at the Plaza location for orientation and training
• Independently evaluate and treat a full caseload of pediatric patients with primary diagnoses related to pediatric feeding disorder
• Assess and treat patients with feeding and eating difficulties including Pediatric Feeding Disorder, Oral Aversion, Dysphagia, ARFID, Failure to Thrive, Autism, Developmental Delay, Motor Delay, Fine Motor Delay, and Sensory Processing Difficulties
• Provide general pediatric developmental occupational therapy coverage as needed
• Treat patients ranging from 18 months and older (experience with ages 8 months and older preferred)
• Charting system: Epic (preferred experience)
• Scrub color: Any color

• 1.5 years of occupational therapy experience required
• Experience in assessment and treatment of pediatric patients with feeding and eating difficulties required; experience with swallowing disorders preferred
• Children's hospital experience preferred, not required
• California OT license required or must be willing to obtain; may use the 60-day rule to practice in California while obtaining license if currently licensed in another state
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA accredited program, or Bachelor's degree if graduated prior to 2004
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NBCOT, California OT License
