Opportunity:
Occupational Therapist - Pediatric Outpatient
Job Details:
• Work Tuesday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM (Mondays off)
• 20-week assignment
• No on-call requirements; may be called off based on patient volume
• Hours are guaranteed after the call-off policy has been met
• Assess and treat pediatric patients with varied developmental conditions including Autism, sensory processing challenges, fine motor delay, and regulation issues
• Feeding and eating experience preferred but not required
• Treat adolescent and pediatric age groups
• Provide patient and family education, plan of care development, reassessments, and discharge planning
• Perform sensory integrative testing and treatment, neurodevelopmental treatment, and visual perceptual skills testing and treatment
• Chart using Epic (preferred experience)
• Scrub color: Any color
• Free traveler parking available
• Maximum of 6 days of RTO; must be confirmed upfront
• Required to work 2 out of 3 holidays
• Minimum 2 years of occupational therapy experience required
• Pediatric outpatient experience required
• Children's hospital experience preferred but not required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NBCOT, California Board of OT License
• California OT license required; candidates licensed in another state may use the 60-day rule to practice in California while obtaining their CA license and must be willing to obtain the CA license upon offer
