Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an acute inpatient rehab unit, requiring 2+ years of adult outpatient/acute experience and Hawaii state licensure.

Details

• Acute inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation therapy setting
• Day shift, Monday-Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• EMR systems used include Net Health Therapy and Meditech
• Must be able to work Hawaii State and Federal Holidays as needed based on hospital operations

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience working with adult patients in outpatient and acute settings
• Current BLS certification from American Red Cross required
• Hawaii state license required by start of assignment (license required if applicable)

Additional Information

• Evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings
• Plan and implement ongoing therapeutic programs as prescribed by the ordering physician
• Regularly update treatment plans and home exercise programs
• Independently manage a full caseload and determine need for re-evaluations based on insurance authorization
• All travelers must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to assignment start
