Contract | Days | Onsite | Skilled Nursing / Long-Term Care Setting
Key Responsibilities
Assist in implementing individualized therapy plans designed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, activities, and treatments.
Monitor patient progress and communicate feedback to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
Educate patients and their families on therapeutic activities, techniques, and care instructions.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated and optimal patient outcomes.
Document patient progress and treatment interventions, modifying plans as necessary under Occupational Therapist guidance.
Required Qualifications
Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Current Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license in the state of Washington.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is a plus.
