Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist for a 14-week travel assignment in Canaan, Connecticut. In this role, you will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions that help patients improve their independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities - Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve functional abilities and independence.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and home exercise programs.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements - Active Connecticut Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Previous rehabilitation or skilled nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
