Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations of residents to identify functional limitations and goals.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on activities of daily living, motor skills, and adaptive equipment.
- Deliver direct therapy sessions, monitor progress, adjust interventions as needed, and document outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with an interprofessional team to coordinate care plans, progress notes, and discharge planning; communicate with families and care staff as appropriate.
- Ensure safe, evidence-based practice and maintain accurate documentation and compliance with facility policies and privacy requirements.
Requirements
- Current Occupational Therapist licensure in Colorado (in good standing) or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- NBCOT certification is preferred.
- Ability to work in a skilled nursing setting and complete therapy with residents in multiple daily contexts.
- Willingness to participate in a travel temporary assignment and meet the stated shift hours (08:00–16:30, 5 days per week).
