Description

American Traveler is hiring a Home Health Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of home health experience and OASIS experience for a 13-week assignment in the Salinas, CA territory.

Details

• Home health setting serving the Salinas, CA territory
• Day shift, 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM), 5 days per week
• Caseload of up to 5–6 patients per day with a standard productivity expectation of 30 points
• 1:1 patient-to-therapist ratio
• Weekend availability may be required as needed
• No on-call requirement
• EMR: Home Health MD
• Local candidates are accepted

Requirements

• Active CA OT license required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 1 year of home health experience required
• OASIS experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Personal, reliable transportation required
• Ability to travel up to 50+ miles within the service territory on occasion

Additional Information

• Business casual attire or scrubs are both acceptable
• The scheduling system groups clients geographically to minimize drive and windshield time
• Timely communication and documentation are expected
• Documentation tools will be provided by the facility and must be returned at the end of the assignment
• Mileage reimbursement is provided at the IRS standard rate
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years are required
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required
