Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a Home Health position in West Portland, OR, requiring 1 year of skilled home health experience and OASIS proficiency.

Details

  • Home health setting serving West Portland, OR and surrounding areas
  • Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • 1:1 patient ratio with up to 6 patient visits per day
  • 30 productivity points standard
  • No weekend requirement
  • No on-call requirement
  • No floating between units required
  • Charting via Home Care Home Base, Remote Client, Rover app, and OASIS

Requirements

  • Current OT license required if applicable
  • OR state license required
  • Minimum 1 year of skilled home health experience required
  • BLS certification required
  • OASIS experience required
  • Must have reliable personal transportation

Additional Information

  • Visits are grouped efficiently to minimize drive time, with occasional travel radius up to 60 miles (60-90 minute total drive time) per day
  • Primary series COVID vaccination plus one booster required
  • Business casual attire required; scrubs allowed but not mandatory, no jeans
  • Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate
  • Free parking available
  • First-time travelers accepted
  • Local candidates accepted within a 50-75 mile radius at the same pay rate
