Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a Home Health assignment in the San Francisco metropolitan area, requiring a minimum of 1 year of Home Health/OASIS experience.

Details

• Home Health setting covering San Francisco, primarily the downtown area
• Caseload of approximately 5-6 patients per day
• Cases involve gait training, strength building, and range of motion therapy
• Day shift schedule with options for 4x10s or 5x8s
• Territory includes a heavily populated homeless area; comfort walking/parking in this environment required, though direct care with this population is not part of the role
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Current BLS certification required
• Valid California OT license required in hand at time of consideration; license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of Home Health experience with OASIS required
• Reference from a previous agency in Home Health or Hospice required
• Kinnser/Wellsky charting experience preferred but not required
• Previous travel experience required

• Provide skilled OT services focused on gait, strength, and range of motion for home health patients
• Scrubs of any color permitted for dress code
