Job Summary
Occupational Therapist, Inpatient This position is based at a healthcare facility in the inpatient setting. The Occupational Therapist performs routine patient care, including evaluation and treatment, with supervision as needed. The role involves providing clinical care to medically complex patients, with a focus on those undergoing transplant or oncology treatments, in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Position Description: The Occupational Therapist conducts patient assessments, develops treatment plans, and implements interventions to restore functional capacity and promote independence in daily activities. Responsible for evaluation and treatment within the scope of practice, collaborating with senior therapists for complex cases.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy curriculum with a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree; Licenses and Certifications including BLS and Occupational Therapist License; Minimum 3 years of experience; work location in an inpatient setting; Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with inpatient acute care, transplant patients, oncology, and medically complex patients.
• Additional Information: Assesses and treats patients with physical, cognitive, and emotional impairments; develops and modifies therapeutic interventions; participates in interdisciplinary care planning and documentation; ensures discharge planning and family education; fabricates orthotic and adaptive devices as needed.
