Job Summary
Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) Galveston, Texas. This position involves providing occupational therapy services in an acute care setting at a major healthcare facility. The role requires evaluation, development, coordination, and implementation of patient-centered physical therapy interventions to ensure high-quality care.

Job Details

• Position Description: Directs the evaluation, development, coordination, and implementation of physical therapy intervention provided to patients. Serves as a patient advocate, ensuring the delivery of physical therapy meets legal, ethical, and institutional standards while adhering to department and organizational policies.
• Required Qualifications: Masters degree in physical therapy from an accredited program; current license in the State of Texas; minimum of 2 years acute care experience; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Schedule: Monday Friday, 8am 5pm, 40 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in an inpatient acute care environment.
• Additional Information: Assignment length is 12 weeks. Orientation and training sessions include virtual new employee orientation and in-patient Epic training sessions on specified dates.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must be licensed in Texas and available to start on 10/26/2026.
