Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) for a 14-week assignment. The ideal candidate will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions that help patients achieve greater independence and improve their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, sensory, and functional abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on therapy goals and home programs.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.
• Promote patient safety and quality care throughout the rehabilitation process.

Requirements

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) License required.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current BLS certification preferred.
• Strong assessment and treatment planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Previous rehabilitation, skilled nursing, post-acute care, or healthcare experience preferred.
