Job Overview We are seeking a licensed and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) to support patient rehabilitation services in an outpatient/long-term care clinical setting. This role involves working with adult and geriatric populations to restore functional independence and improve quality of life through structured therapy programs.
The Occupational Therapist will work as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team and will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions.
Key Responsibilities - Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, function, and independence
- Document patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation staff
- Educate patients and families on therapy goals and home exercises
- Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and regulatory standards
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Requirements - Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the applicable state
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Previous clinical or rehabilitation experience preferred
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- CPR certification may be required
