Key Responsibilities of the Travel Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA):
  • Assist Occupational Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Provide therapeutic activities to help patients improve daily living and functional skills
  • Support patients in developing strength, coordination, and independence
  • Monitor patient progress and report updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist
  • Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and equipment use
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies

Requirements of the Travel Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA):
  • Active Maryland Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
