Key Responsibilities of the Travel Occupational Therapist Assistant:
  • Assist Occupational Therapists in implementing treatment plans to improve patients' ability to perform daily activities
  • Provide therapeutic activities and exercises to enhance fine motor skills, coordination, and independence
  • Monitor patient progress and report updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist
  • Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and use of assistive devices
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies
  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patient care

Requirements of the Travel Occupational Therapist Assistant:
  • Active California Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
