Key Responsibilities for the Travel Occupational Therapist Assistant:

Assist Occupational Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans
Guide patients through therapeutic activities designed to improve mobility and daily living skills
Monitor patient progress and report observations to supervising OT
Educate patients and families on therapy activities and home exercises
Maintain accurate patient documentation in accordance with state and facility guidelines
Travel as needed to assigned facility locations

Requirements for a Certified Travel Occupational Therapist Assistant:

Valid Occupational Therapist Assistant license in the state of California
Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program
NBCOT certification
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a COTA
BLS certification (AHA or equivalent)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
