What We're Looking For


  • Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
  • Current Washington state OT license in good standing with the State License Board. (Client requires state licensure in the assignment state.)
  • NBCOT Certification.
  • Educator's License or eligibility for school-based credentials in Washington.
  • Experience working in school-based settings, including conducting student assessments and developing IEPs. (Client preference: prior school district experience.)
  • Ability to provide 7.5 hours per day of onsite services consistent with district schedules and documentation requirements.
  • Clear background screening and willingness to comply with district onboarding requirements.
  • Preferred: Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary school teams and familiarity with school-specific documentation systems.

  • Shift Details: Monday through Friday, 0800-1600.
  • Hours per day: Approximately 7.5 hours.

What You'll Do


  • Provide occupational therapy services in a school-based setting to support students' participation in educational activities.
  • Perform evaluations, develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals, and deliver direct and consultative therapy interventions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary school teams to support student progress and accommodations.
  • Maintain compliant documentation consistent with district, state, and federal guidelines, including progress notes and IEP reports.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to functional recommendations for classroom adaptations and assistive technology when indicated.
