What We're Looking For


  • Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
  • Current Washington state OT license in good standing with the State License Board.
  • NBCOT Certification.
  • Educator's License or Washington equivalent preferred.
  • Experience providing occupational therapy services in school settings preferred, including conducting assessments and developing IEPs.
  • Experience with pediatric populations and school-based documentation and compliance requirements preferred.


What You'll Do:


  • Provide occupational therapy services in a K–12 school setting.
  • Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and deliver goal-aligned therapy interventions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, school teams, and related service providers.
  • Maintain compliant documentation according to district, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to student progress monitoring.


Minimum Requirements


  • Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active Washington state OT license in good standing.
  • NBCOT Certification required.
  • Educator's License preferred; must be able to obtain if required by the district.
  • Prior experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred.
  • Ability to complete background checks and meet district onboarding requirements.


Assignment Details


  • Facility Type: School.
  • Shift Name: Days.
  • Shift Details: Days 0800-1600.
  • Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
  • Contract Weeks: 42-week school year assignment.
  • Daily Onsite Expectation: 7.5 hours per day with a 30-minute meal period.
