What We're Looking For


  • Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program
  • Current Illinois occupational therapy license in good standing with the State License Board
  • NBCOT Certification
  • Educator's License

Minimum Requirements / Qualifications


  • Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current Illinois OT license in good standing.
  • NBCOT certification required.
  • Valid Educator's License or appropriate school-based credential required.
  • Experience providing occupational therapy services in a school setting, including conducting assessments and developing IEPs.
  • Experience working with elementary and middle school students (ES, MS) preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary school teams.
  • Compliant documentation skills per district, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Preferred: prior experience in special education caseload management and school-based assistive technology.
