What We're Looking For


  • Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
  • Current Illinois OT license in good standing with the State License Board.
  • NBCOT Certification.
  • Educator's License required for school-based practice in Illinois.
  • Experience working in school-based settings, including resource and self-contained environments for elementary and middle school levels.
  • Experience developing IEPs, conducting student assessments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary school teams.
  • Ability to manage caseloads that include elementary and middle school students and to provide documentation consistent with district, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Preferred: Prior experience with FMLA-covered roles and familiarity with special education documentation systems.

  • Provide occupational therapy services in a school-based setting.
  • Conduct student assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and deliver goal-aligned interventions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to support student progress.
