What We're Looking For
- Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Current Illinois OT license in good standing with the State License Board.
- NBCOT Certification.
- Educator's License required for school-based practice in Illinois.
- Experience working in school-based settings, including resource and self-contained environments for elementary and middle school levels.
- Experience developing IEPs, conducting student assessments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary school teams.
- Ability to manage caseloads that include elementary and middle school students and to provide documentation consistent with district, state, and federal guidelines.
- Preferred: Prior experience with FMLA-covered roles and familiarity with special education documentation systems.
What You'll Do:
- Provide occupational therapy services in a school-based setting.
- Conduct student assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and deliver goal-aligned interventions.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to support student progress.
- Maintain compliant documentation per district, state, and federal guidelines.
