Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans to improve daily living and functional abilities
  • Assess physical, cognitive, sensory, and psychosocial needs of patients
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, coordination, strength, and independence
  • Train patients in activities of daily living (ADLs), including dressing, grooming, feeding, and self-care tasks
  • Recommend adaptive equipment and modifications to improve patient safety and functionality
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Educate patients and families on treatment goals, home exercise programs, and adaptive techniques
  • Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, speech therapists, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
  • Ensure compliance with patient safety and quality care guidelines
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Active Occupational Therapist license in Oregon
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Occupational Therapy experience
  • Current BLS Certification required
  • Strong assessment, treatment planning, and clinical decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting
  • Experience with rehabilitation and functional mobility training preferred
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records and documentation systems
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
