Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while exploring a new location.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active Massachusetts OT license required to start the assignment.
- Home Health experience required.
- Experience with HomeCare HomeBase or similar electronic documentation systems required.
- Ability to perform OT starts of care, evaluations, recertifications, discharges, and treatments in community and assisted living settings.
- Current BLS certification may be required.
- Ability to work as an independent contractor and comply with professional certification and education requirements.
- Preferred: experience with cognitive therapy.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Home Health.
- Shift Name: Days.
- Shift Schedule: Days 0800-1600. 5 days per week. 40 hours per week.
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 32.
- Coverage Areas: Bourne territories including South Shore (Plymouth, Kingston, Carver), South Coast (Wareham to Seekonk), and Cape Cod (Bourne, Sandwich, Mashpee, Falmouth).
- Mileage Reimbursement: Mileage reimbursed between patient visits at $0.50 per mile. First patient mileage adjustment applies if clinician lives closer to the office than the first patient.
- Top Responsibilities: OT starts of care, evaluations, recertifications, discharges, and treatments in community and assisted living facilities.
- On-call/Weekend Requirement: None.
