Experience in working with diverse patient populations is also a plus. Experience with EPIC documentation is a plus.Skill Level: Must be familiar with the acute care hospital setting, have excellent patient handling skills and transfer techniques, be a good communicator, comfortable working with other members of the health care team (i.e. nursing, MD, Case management), team player, strong time management skills, be self-directed, flexible and able to multitask. Department Details: Inpatient Rehab department is made up of PT and OT. We provide coverage throughout the inpatient floors of the hospital. Patients seen include those ranging from birth through elderly age, can have varying impairments related to musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and post-surgical diagnoses. Average Patient Ratio or Patients seen in a shift: Goal productivity is 5.2 hours in a 8 hour day. Therapists usually manage a patient list of 8-15 patients, and are usually able to see between 6-7 patients.Additional Comments/Details:We are looking for someone who is competent working with a diverse patient population in a fast paced acute care hospital environment, and comfortable working with a wide variety of patient diagnoses.
