The work is in a fast-paced acute care environment. The therapist will manage approximately 250 active consults per day. The staff consists of 30 members with various skill sets. The ratio is 2:1 for OTR to COTA. Patients assigned typically range from 8 to 10 per day per OTR. The required equipment includes general acute care DME. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech. Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months of hospital OT experience. Trauma experience and comprehensive stroke experience are preferred. The ideal candidate should have the ability to work independently. Good communication and collaboration skills are essential. Flexibility is important due to the dynamic nature of acute care.
