Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions that improve independence, daily functioning, and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients to determine physical, cognitive, sensory, and functional deficits.
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Provide interventions focused on improving activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, and independence.
• Train patients in adaptive techniques and recommend assistive devices as needed.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on clinical outcomes.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding therapy goals and home exercise programs.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Adhere to professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) License required.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current BLS Certification preferred.
• Strong assessment, treatment planning, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Previous rehabilitation, post-acute care, skilled nursing, or outpatient experience preferred.
