Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) for a 13-week contract assignment at a healthcare facility. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide high-quality therapy services designed to improve functional abilities, increase independence, and enhance overall quality of life.

Responsibilities
Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
Provide therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living (ADLs), fine motor skills, upper extremity function, coordination, strength, balance, and overall functional performance
Assess patient progress and modify treatment plans to maximize rehabilitation outcomes
Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, assistive devices, home exercise programs, and safety strategies to promote independence
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, case managers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
Participate in discharge planning and provide recommendations for continued therapy services when appropriate
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care focused on restoring function, improving independence, and enhancing quality of life
Requirements
Required: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Required: Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of assignment or ability to obtain
Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience
Strong communication, documentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new clinical environments
