Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) - $2,214 per week in Oxnard, CA

Candidates will be hired based on specific needs for inpatient or outpatient services. Inpatient responsibilities may include general inpatient care, rehabilitation, or sub-acute cases. Outpatient responsibilities include working in facilities focused on orthopedic and sports medicine. Patient population includes various types of diagnoses, including orthopedic, neurological, and pediatric cases. Additional focus areas may include rehab for spinal cord injuries, strokes, and brain injuries. General inpatient care includes orthopedic, medical-surgical, bariatrics, ICU, and cardiac cases. Sub-acute care may involve patients requiring long-term ventilator support. Weekend shifts are required, with candidates expected to work either Saturday or Sunday. Holidays will be worked into the permanent staff rotation, typically consisting of one major and one minor holiday. Uniforms are provided, with polo shirts required along with khakis or black pants. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in the field. Swallow experience is preferred as it is a rare specialty certification for occupational therapy. Cancellation policy includes the potential for the hospital to cancel up to 4 shifts during a 13-week assignment. Charting system used is Cerner.
