Experience with stroke evaluation and treatment. Description: We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. The position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting. Candidates must possess experience in stroke evaluation and treatment. The unit has a patient ratio of 4:1 with a team comprised of therapy professionals. Equipment used includes Sara Lifts, Ceiling Lifts, Bioness, and Diego. Documentation will be completed using Meditech Expanse. Shifts are available Monday through Friday between 7 AM and 5 PM, with weekend rotation. Floating to acute care may occur if the rehabilitation census is low. Advanced skills are not required for this position. Procedures performed may include manual therapy for neuro re-education and therapeutic exercises. Self-care and functional electrical stimulation are also part of the treatment process.
