Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) - $2,229 to $2,429 per week in West Allis, WI

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT with Jackson Therapy Partners. We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a brand-new location.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Wisconsin Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification required from AHA or ARC.
• Minimum 3 years of OT experience. Experience in home health preferred. Experience in SNF or acute care acceptable.
• Experience with adult home health patient population including geriatrics, post-stroke, post-joint replacement, weakness, deconditioning, COPD, CHF.
• Experience conducting evaluations (typical evaluation ~1.5 hours) and standard home health visits.
• Vehicle, active driver’s license, and active auto insurance required due to community-based caseload.
• Experience working with interdisciplinary teams (RN, PT) and participating in morning team huddles.
• EMR experience preferred, EPIC preferred.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Hospital (home health position covering Kenosha and Racine Counties).
• Shift Name: Days.
• Shift Details: Monday–Friday 08:00–16:30.
• Typical caseload: Approximately 6 patient visits (points) per day. Evaluation visits ~1.5 hours, standard visits ~1 hour.
• Travel/Float: Coverage primarily in Racine County and Kenosha County. Typical drive times 20–30 minutes; occasional drives up to about 60 minutes possible.
• Orientation: First day at National Avenue office in Milwaukee, EPIC training, and preceptor-led orientation week.
• Scheduling: No weekend rotation, no on-call, no routine holiday work.
