Job Opportunity – Occupational Therapist – Walla Walla, WA 99362

Start Date: August 24, 2026

Location: Walla Walla, Washington

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (07:00 - 15:00), 40 hours per week. Weekend rotation required (1 weekend every 4 weeks). Expected patient volume of 8-9 patients per day.

Highlights:
  • 13-week travel assignment at a 104-bed Short Term Acute Care facility with Level III Trauma Center designation
  • Float between acute care, medical, ICU, and inpatient rehabilitation units for diverse clinical experience
  • Work with varied patient diagnoses including multi-trauma, TBI, SCI, CVA, surgical, orthopedic, Parkinson's, and MS patients
  • Collaborative, close-knit therapy team in a regional hospital setting
  • Epic charting system utilized facility-wide
  • No parking fees
Requirements:
  • Valid Washington state Occupational Therapy license (must be in hand at time of submission)
  • Minimum 1 year of acute care experience required
  • Inpatient rehabilitation experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with functional and static splints, orthoplast, kinesiotaping, and edema massage preferred
  • Epic charting experience preferred
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work independently
  • Flexibility to float between multiple units and work as a collaborative team member
  • Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
