Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Acute Care Hospital Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Active occupational therapy license required Certifications: Relevant certifications required Must-Have: Experience with EPIC charting system Description: FLEX SHIFT for Acute Care Occupational Therapist. Position will float between units as needed. On-call duty is not required. Weekends are required, with a commitment of 3 weekend days per month. Block scheduling is not specified. Expected patient ratios are 1:1. The position may be flexible between 8 hours or 10 hours per day, but 10-hour days are preferred. All staff members will work weekends and one holiday each year. The caregiver will not float to different facilities but will provide occupational therapy services to assigned units. Training will be provided. Type of facility includes short-term acute care with a total of 536 staff beds. Interdisciplinary support is available. Specific patient diagnoses and procedures will be discussed during onboarding. Communication devices will be provided if required for the assignment. Travelers may be expected to float within nearby facilities. Travelers must have a vehicle for this assignment. Candidates are required to provide supervisory references covering the last year of experience. All requests for time off must be made in advance and may not be granted post-submission. Inflexibility beyond the contracted schedule may lead to contract termination.
