Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) - $2,256 per week in Portland, OR

Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Acute Care Client Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of inpatient acute care experience required. License: Valid state license required. Compact license must be in hand at submission. Certifications: BLS, NBCOT Must-Have: Must have inpatient acute care hospital experience. Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays. Description: Position will float between units as needed. Weekend coverage required, approximately 4 weekend days per month. Must have experience with Electronic Health Records, specifically Epic. Expected to provide assessments, discharge planning, and patient education. Knowledge in lifting and transfer techniques, safety and injury prevention is essential. Will work with patients across adult and geriatric age groups. Daily census is approximately 165 patients. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Communication devices needed for duties will be provided at no cost. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment. All time spent on modules is included in non-billable hours. Must request all time off and scheduling requests upfront. Inflexibility beyond contracted schedule may lead to contract termination. References covering 1 year required within the last 3 years during the compliance process.
