Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) for a 20-week assignment in Hayward, California. The ideal candidate will work with patients to develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working, helping them achieve greater independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve functional abilities and independence.
• Assess patients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and adaptive techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.

Requirements

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) License required.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current BLS certification preferred.
• Previous rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or acute care experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
