Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Assess physical, cognitive, and functional limitations impacting daily living.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve independence and safety.
• Train patients in activities of daily living (ADLs) and adaptive techniques.
• Recommend and educate patients on assistive devices and adaptive equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and home programs.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Adhere to professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) License required.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current BLS Certification preferred.
• Strong assessment, treatment planning, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Previous rehabilitation, skilled nursing, post-acute care, or outpatient experience preferred.
