Job Opportunity – Occupational Therapist, Acute Care – Eureka, CA 95501

Start Date: August 10, 2026

Location: Eureka, California

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:30), 13-week assignment

Highlights:

Requirements:
  • Valid California Occupational Therapy license (must be in hand; pending licenses not accepted)
  • Minimum 1 year of occupational therapy experience required
  • Previous travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
  • BLS certification required
  • Required skills: acute disorder experience, chronic disorder experience, functional activities
  • Preferred skills: standardized assessments, feeding techniques (oral/motor)
  • Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
  • Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
  • Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
  • Willingness to float within the facility or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed
