Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) - $2,397 per week in Albuquerque, NM

Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum of 1 year preferred License: Required Certifications: MOAB, NBCOT, NM License, BLS Must-Have: MOAB Certification is required. Candidates without MOAB certification will receive a 4-hour de-escalation course during their first week. If the candidate does not pass the course, the contract may be canceled. National certifications required include MOAB and NBCOT. A New Mexico license is mandatory. Description: This position involves providing home health care for adults and geriatrics. The clinician will be responsible for managing a case load of 8-12 patients. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. No weekend work is required. The traveler's experience in home health care is preferred. Candidates will perform assessments, evaluations, and create personalized plans of care. Experience with adaptive equipment, cognitive assessment, and community re-entry is essential. The ability to provide education to patients and families is required. Candidates need to demonstrate skills in discharge planning, reassessments, and safety/injury prevention. Functional capacity evaluations and treatment of various injuries and conditions are also part of the role. Mileage is reimbursed at the federal IRS standard mileage rate, for a territory of 35 miles. No local candidates will be considered within a 100-mile radius. COVID vaccination is optional, and reporting is required. Candidates should be prepared for a second set of fingerprints upon arrival. The position includes a productivity standard of 27 points for a 40-hour work week. The facility reserves the right to call off staff up to three times during the assignment.
