Job Title: Pediatric Occupational Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Pediatrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:30 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent pediatric experience License: Must be licensed in Maryland Certifications: None required Must-Have: Pediatric experience Description: Pediatric Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of recent experience is needed. Looking for an ASAP start. The position guarantees 40 hours per week from Monday to Thursday, with no weekends. Patients served range in age from birth to 21 years. Primary diagnoses and conditions treated include Cerebral Palsy, Autism, and Genetic/Developmental Conditions. Expected caseload consists of 25 billed hours per week. Sessions are typically scheduled for 29-30 hours to account for cancellations. Productivity expectations are for 25 billed hours per week. The evaluation to treatment mix consists of 1-2 evaluations per week. Documentation is conducted using an electronic system. Sessions are typically 1:1, with occasional co-treats for quality treatment when needed. Support staff is available to assist as needed. The facility is well equipped with therapy equipment including a sensory gym and feeding tools. The dress code requires comfortable attire but prohibits jeans and open-toed shoes. No weekend or holiday coverage is required. The facility is a non-smoking environment with a zero tolerance policy.
