Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) - $2,455 per week in Somersworth, NH

Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 full year of Adult Home Health Experience License: Must have license in hand - no exceptions Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have: Must have reliable transportation. Current driver's license and agency-required liability insurance. Recent Home Health experience is required. Must be willing to travel up to 75 miles from home clinic. Description: This position involves home visits for therapy and rehabilitation. Periodic office meetings are required. Contractors will be assigned between 5 to 10 patients per day. This will equate to roughly 6 to 8 points per day. Each type of visit and activity, including documentation and travel, carries a different point value. The contractor must accept every patient on their schedule, regardless of travel distance between appointments. Documentation must be completed within 24 hours of the appointment with the patient. Delayed or incomplete documentation affecting billing and follow-up patient care could result in a cancellation. There are no guaranteed hours with this contract. Contractors must meet weekly productivity points of 30, which equates to 40 hours per week. All overtime must be pre-approved. If not receiving enough patients each week to support financial needs, there is an opportunity to float to a nearby clinic to pick up patients. Experience with HomeCare HomeBase EMR is preferred. The expected travel distance per week is between 60 to 75 miles.
