Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) - $2,473 per week in Newton Center, MA

Job Title: Occupational Therapist Home Health Profession: Occupational Therapist Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8.5 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Certification in home care Occupational Therapy Certifications: Registered with the Board of Registration in Massachusetts Must-Have: Two years of experience in acute care, rehabilitation, or home care as an Occupational Therapist Ability to work with various computer software Knowledge of hand-held patient care computer devices preferred Strong customer service skills and ability to work with diverse populations Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills Ability to prioritize work and adapt to changing situations Travel required within the designated geographic area. Description: Provide occupational therapy services to patients in their place of residence. Patients may have impairments, cognitive and/or physical issues resulting from injury, disease, disability, or other causes. Collaborate with the patient, family, physician, and other allied health professionals to identify patient needs. Coordinate services to meet those needs, managing technical, environmental, and financial resources. Patients may range in age from birth to over 100 years.
