Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) - $2,491 per week in Shelton, CT

Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 full year of adult home health experience License: Must have a valid occupational therapist license Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have: - Reliable transportation - Current driver's license - Agency-required liability insurance Description: Therapists will be responsible for providing home health services to patients. This role requires travel to patients' homes daily. Therapists must be comfortable driving up to 75 miles from their home base. Contractors will be assigned between 5-10 patients per day. The expectation is to complete documentation within 24 hours of patient visits. Delayed or incomplete documentation may affect billing and patient care. There are no guaranteed hours with this contract. Clinicians must meet weekly productivity expectations of 30 points. Each visit and activity holds a different point value based on productivity metrics. Contractors may need to float to another nearby clinic if patient census is low. Travelers accepted, as long as they meet the required experience. All candidates must understand the expectations of accepting every patient scheduled. Overtime must be pre-approved. Mileage will be reimbursed at the standard IRS rate.
