Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active New York State OT license required to start the assignment.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) certification required.
• Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR) credential required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience treating adults in outpatient hand therapy or related outpatient hospital settings.
• Experience managing caseloads of approximately 8–12 patients per shift in an outpatient clinic.
• Familiarity with outpatient hand therapy procedures and equipment, splinting, and post-operative protocols.
• Professional dress requirement: gray scrubs requested by the client.
• BLS certification may be required from AHA or ARC.
• Preferred: prior experience working in a hospital outpatient department. Preferred items are indicated as preferred.
