Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) - $2,506 per week in Shreveport, LA

Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Occupational Therapist Specialty: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Days Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: 1+ years required License: Current OT license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Experience with ADLs and managing a caseload independently. Willingness to work with a multidisciplinary team. Experience with specified patient types. Description: Manager interview required. Inpatient therapy setting, Monday to Friday, no holidays, no weekends, no call. Preferred travel experience, subject to interview and skills evaluation. Patient types include spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, strokes, amputees, multiple trauma, hip fractures, bilateral knee replacements, post-cardiac surgery, post-COVID, and medically complex or debilitating patients. Additional patient types include general orthopedic cases, sports medicine, pediatrics with developmental issues, neuro-specific diagnoses, and spinal patients in outpatient therapy. Experience in skilled nursing similar to inpatient rehab is also ideal. Expected to collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team. Technology used includes EMR systems for inpatient rehab and outpatient settings. Flexible scheduling options are available for hours. No weekend coverage required for outpatient; inpatient and acute care rotate once per month. No on-call duties required. There are no holiday responsibilities.
