Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) for a contract assignment in a rehabilitation/skilled nursing setting. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions aimed at improving daily living skills, mobility, and functional independence.
The ideal candidate will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and enhance quality of life through targeted occupational therapy services.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and assess patients functional and occupational therapy needs
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide therapeutic interventions to improve daily living skills
Train patients in adaptive techniques and equipment use
Document patient progress and treatment outcomes
Collaborate with physicians and rehabilitation teams
Educate patients and caregivers on therapy strategies
Ensure compliance with clinical and facility standards
Requirements
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Delaware
Rehabilitation or skilled nursing experience preferred
