Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) - $2,606 per week in Clearlake, CA

The typical start time is usually at 8:30 am. There is a 30-minute lunch that varies between 11 am and 1:30 pm depending on patient activities. Weekend coverage is available for physical therapy only. Timing for weekend coverage is based on the number of patients that need to be seen. Weekend coverage typically occurs sometime during the hours of 8 am to 5 pm. Occasionally, weekend coverage may run late if there are other commitments that day. This position is for a 25-bed rural critical access hospital. There are 4 ICU beds and 4 beds assigned to women's health. The activity/rehabilitation room is designated as room 319. Scheduling is consistent but dynamic based on patient load. There is additional scheduled coverage from an outpatient clinic daily, typically ranging from 2 to 4 hours. Needs for outpatient coverage are determined daily during a morning huddle. These needs are communicated with the lead therapist for outpatient services. The weekend schedule is managed personally. Coverage timing for weekends is not specifically set. Charting is currently done through a specific electronic health record system. A manual log is also maintained in addition to electronic charting.
