Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Occupational Therapy Specialty: Occupational Therapist Duration: 12 months Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours (10 am - 6 pm) Experience: One year experience as an occupational therapist in an acute care facility preferred License: Licensed by the California Board of Occupational Therapy required Certifications: BLS (AHA) current certification required Description: Reporting to the Manager of Rehabilitation, the Occupational Therapist is responsible for the evaluation, planning, directing, and administering of occupational therapy modalities prescribed by a licensed physician. The Occupational Therapist is responsible for developing and implementing patient treatment programs. The role requires the ability to design treatment programs for patients with varying degrees and types of disabilities and multiple medical problems. Innovative home programs are to be developed, individualized to meet the needs of the patient and family, and instruction is provided to the patient and family in these programs.
