Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) - $2,626 per week in Carlsbad, TX

Shift: 8 am to 5pm M-F with some flexibility to do assessments. Responsibilities: Complete Occupational therapy assessments. Perform treatments, creates home based plans, monitoring of plans for implementation and effectiveness.. Attend client centered meetings or provides information when needed. Performs skills based competency training for staff. Must have good verbal and written communication skills, including participating in team meetings, training clients and staff, and quality electronic record documentation. Will conduct themselves in accordance with the Rules and Regulations relating to Occupational Therapist Education, Licensure, and Practice in the State of Texas. Will abide by the rules, regulations, and policies of client and Facility. Minimum Qualifications: All certifications must be current and remain as such while providing services at the Facility Maintain current Occupational Therapist license with the State of Texas. Maintain CEUs for licensure. Must be in good standing with Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners. Preferred Experience: Sensory Integration assessment and treatment planning. School based therapy and collaboration with teachers. Outpatient Occupational therapy services. Other: Must comply with client immunization requirements. Must submit to client required drug test. Must submit to client required fingerprinting. Must comply with facility and client required training.
