Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) - $2,647 per week in Ogden, UT

Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Occupational Therapist Specialty: Inpatient Rehabilitation Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 5-8 hour days, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, weekends as needed with advanced notice Experience: One (1) year experience required. Previous inpatient rehabilitation facility experience preferred. License: Current state license for Occupational Therapy required. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers required. Must-Have: - Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy required. - Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy preferred. - Epic EMR experience preferred. Description: The Occupational Therapist provides direct patient services that may include identifying, evaluating, diagnosing, and treating. This position also provides indirect services including consulting, advising, teaching, and training patients and their caregivers. The role involves assessing and evaluating a patient's condition according to the physician's order and current standards of practice. The Occupational Therapist provides appropriate intervention including treatment related to the established plan of care with appropriate duration and intensity. Education and training are provided for patients and their caregivers. The Occupational Therapist accepts assignments from the Director or Team Lead including caseload, productivity standards, education and in-servicing others, orienting and training new employees, supervising and training students, and supervising assistive personnel. Active participation in the quality improvement process for the team and the clinical setting along with following through with the improvements is expected. Communication through written chart notes, evaluations, progress reports, and discharge summaries regarding the patient's status, any complications, prognosis, and plans for follow-up care is essential. Daily charges must be recorded and submitted for payment according to department guidelines. Participation in regularly scheduled or special clinical meetings related to patient care and clinic management is required. Maintaining appropriate team and interdisciplinary relationships is crucial. The position involves physical requirements such as hearing/listening, lifting, manual dexterity, pulling/pushing, seeing, sitting, speaking, squatting/kneeling, standing, and walking.
