Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) - $2,662 per week in San Francisco, CA

Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Inpatient Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in acute care settings and adult rehabilitation facilities License: Active Occupational Therapy License Certifications: AHA BLS Must-Have: COVID-19 vaccination and booster Description: Candidate will have a minimum of one year of licensed experience as an Occupational Therapist working with adults, seniors, and elders in an acute rehabilitation unit setting. Key competencies include working with patients with orthopedic, cardiac, neurologic, and general medical/surgical diagnoses. Preferred candidates will also have knowledge of and experience working in an acute care or hospital setting across levels of acuity, including ICU and general wards. The role requires strong clinical skills in occupational therapy with an ability to assess, plan, and implement treatment programs effectively. Must be willing and able to float to other facilities as needed. Candidates should be adept at using adaptive equipment and possess skills in various therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive assessments and discharge planning. Experience with specific patient populations, including those recovering from trauma, stroke, or significant orthopedic issues, is advantageous. The ability to engage effectively with patients and their families for education and support is essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
