Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Occupational Therapist Specialty: Occupational Therapy Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 40 hours per week (8x5's) Experience: Recent experience required License: Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice: Required Certifications: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor: Required Must-Have: Recent experience with EPIC Description: Provides high-quality healthcare services. Plans and conducts segments of treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical, social, and mental functions. Serves as co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient groups. Completes evaluations to ensure quality standards and addresses assessment areas that require attention. Uses appropriate clinical techniques and tools and establishes individualized treatment plans for patients. Provides therapy interventions using appropriate treatment protocols and techniques. Establishes individualized care and discharge plans and ensures plans are communicated to appropriate parties. Completes comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines. Supervises assigned assistants. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Organizational Requirements: Commits to the safety and wellbeing of associates and patients. Requires that all associates receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable. Medical and religious exemptions may apply. Participates in E-Verify. Acknowledges understanding of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices. Scheduling Requirements: Call Required: Text lead therapist if calling in sick. Float Required: Floating is optional but encouraged if help is needed at other sites. Weekend Coverage: Not required. Documentation System: Transitioning to a new documentation system. Provider Coverage: Contact specialist as needed for questions on patients. Additional Information: Physical therapy equipment including wheelchairs, walkers, canes, etc. Special procedures may include video swallows. Dress code: Scrubs (black).
